Gemma is an accredited Social Worker, Counsellor & EMDR Therapist who is passionate about fostering safe, nurturing, and dignified connections. She has a strong interest in couples therapy and is committed to supporting individuals and families through life transitions, relationship challenges, and personal growth. 

Recognized for her compassionate, humble, and client-centered approach, Gemma provides a supportive and non-judgmental space for individuals and couples navigating grief and loss, trauma, developmental challenges, relationship difficulties, and mental health concerns. 

Drawing from a strong foundation in Narrative Therapy, Attachment-Based Interventions, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Gemma tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each client. She has also completed Gottman Method training, allowing her to provide comprehensive relationship assessments and evidence-based interventions to help couples strengthen their connection and resolve underlying conflicts. 

With extensive experience in perinatal mental health, Gemma also has extensive experience in supporting individuals and couples as they adjust to parenthood, navigate relationship transitions, and manage perinatal bereavement, depression and anxiety.
